Bruce Keddie
Piper (retired), Life member
Bruce resides in West Melton, Canterbury NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2009 when the band was established.
Bruce learnt to play the pipes as a teenager with the Greymouth Highland Pipe Band. During his 21 years’ service in the New Zealand Army he was the Piper for an Armored Corp unit - NZ Scots, and still turns out when requested to take part in NZ Army parades as a piper. Bruce also plays in the City of Christchurch Pipe Band as Pipe Sergeant and previously Pipe Major.
Bruce has been the band’s president since 2007.
