Dave resides in Riverton NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2012 when the band travelled to Basel. Dave began his pipe band career in 1989 when he joined the Waimatuku Pipe Band as a tenor drummer.  He has been that band’s base drummer since 1994.  Dave joined the Pipes and Drums of Christchurch City in 2012 when it performed in the Basel Tattoo and has toured regularly with the band in the years since
