Don Wilson
Piper, Life Member
Don resides in Milton NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2009 when the band travelled to Libya. Don was taught by the late Donald Bain. He competed on the solo board for many years, eventually being classified as an ‘A’ grade soloist. He has spent many years tutoring pupils at the South Otago School of Bagpipes.
Don was Pipe Major of the City of Dunedin Pipe Band from 1997 to 2003 and has also played in other bands, including:

Don joined the Pipes and Drums of Christchurch City when it was formed in 2009. He was pipe sergeant for a few years and provided invaluable service tuning the pipe corp.
