Peter resides in Invercargill NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2018 when the band travelled to Crimea. Peter learned to play the pipes at the age of 10 under the tutelage of the late Val McKay.  He shifted from Tuatapere to Queenstown and played with the band there during the late-1980s.  He has played in the Waimatuku Pipe Band since 2002.
