Tenor Drummer; Life Member
Sonya resides in Christchurch NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2010 when the band travelled to Windsor, London.
Sonya plays Tenor Drum in the Canterbury Caledonian Pipe Band (grade 4 competition band). She also played for a few years in the Canterbury Caledonian Grade 2 band.
In 2018 Sonya travelled to China with the Queenstown and Southern Lakes Pipe Band as a Tenor Drummer to perform in the Shanghai Tourism Festival.
Life Member - Sonya was presented with a certificate for Life Membership on June 7th 2020.
Tours with the band: 2017 Moscow, 2017 Norfolk Virginia, 2016 Wellington NZ, 2015 Edinburgh, 2013 Halifax Canada, 2012 Basel Switzerland, 2010 Windsor London.
